Founded by Charlie Adams II, a passionate advocate with deep roots in the community, the market embodies the principles of nature, nourishment, and nutrition. Drawing from nearly 200 years of local family history in the Tampa our mission is to foster connections between families and the environment.
Our market aims to address food disparities by providing access to fresh, locally-sourced produce and goods while celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the area. By creating a nurturing atmosphere, we empower residents to engage with nature and promote healthy living, ensuring that everyone in the community has the opportunity to thrive.
Our Mission
Kids On The River, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Sulphur Springs, Tampa, is dedicated to connecting children and families with nature through innovative environmental education and community engagement. Our mission is to inspire a passion for the environment, promote family values, cultural identity, and drive economic development and growth through famers Market known as “The Springs Market.” We focus on empowering entrepreneurship, providing training, and creating job opportunities within our community. By enhancing overall well-being and recognizing the value of our area, we aim to build a resilient and sustainable community that prioritizes collaboration and health for all its members.
